Use to specify the parameters that will define how the classes will be created. Then, specify the kind of distribution to use. Finally select the number of classes to be generated.

• Minimum / Maximum — Set the minimum and maximum values between which the classes will be generated.

• Distribution — Choose between “Equal Range” and “Equal Count”.

  When “Equal Range” is selected, the range defined by the minimum and the maximum value is divided by the number of requested intervals of equal size.

  If the “Equal Count” is selected then each intervals will contain the same number of pixel elevations.

  Note that because “Equal Count” is an approximation, the number of classes that are generated may vary depending on the source data and the specified intervals.

• Intervals — Use to set the number of intervals.

Use to define the two colors that will be ramped.

Click to generate the classes. The classes can be edited before clicking OK. The classes are added when the OK button is hit.

Click OK to add the classes.

Cancel the operation and closes the dialog without saving.
